Kiran Kumar Chereddy I was born in Guntur, India in 1987. Being interested in life sciences, I chose biology as major in my secondary school. From 2005, I studied at Vishwa Bharathi College of Pharmaceutical Sciences, affiliated to Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University (JNTU) to pursue Bachelor of Pharmacy. In May 2009, I obtained the ‘Licentiate in Pharmacy’. After finishing the first degree, I worked as a research assistant in JNTU for one year till May 2010. In September 2010, I got a wonderful opportunity to join Erasmus Mundus Master Course Advanced Spectroscopy in Chemistry. That was my first travel abroad. As part of ASC master course, I studied one year at the University of Lille-1, France and one year at the University of Leipzig in Germany. I did my master thesis on ‘nanoparticles for gene delivery’ at the Interdisciplinary Research Institute in Lille, France and graduated in June 2012. In September 2012, I started my PhD studies in the group of Prof. V. Prèat at the Louvain Drug Research Institute, UCL in Belgium where I am employed as an Early Stage Researcher within the Marie Curie Actions Initial Training Network NANODRUG. I am really enjoying the European culture, cities and food. During my free time, I like to go out with friends, travel and cook. Back to Researchers page |
