All Marie Curie Fellows employed by the Network attended the workshop which focused on ‘Skin diseases-drug delivery-animal models’. The lectures were ranging among skin structure, drug and gene delivery, liposomes in dermatological applications and efficacy of topical formulations. A presentation about enhancement in drug delivery in the skin was also delivered by Prof. Prėat. Participants could also attend very interesting practicals in the laboratories of the department and experience different techniques on how to work on skin samples, Franz cells and histology. The researchers were invited to one of the most important attraction in Brussels, the Atomium Restaurant, with its stunning view and its traditional food. After the workshop the Fellows had the opportunity to walk around the historical Brussels city centre and were delighted to discover the Belgium customs and the chocolate. ![]() back to main events page |
