![]() The fourth NANODRUG International Scientific Meeting was organised by Prof. Klaus Liedl and his ESR Yin Wang and held at the University of Innsbruck, Austria. All Marie Curie Fellows presented their latest scientific results. Three young researchers from the NANODRUG partners’ labs were offered a bursary to attend these events and present their results. Three scientists were invited to give a lecture on their most recent research: Prof. Erik Reimhult from the University of Natural Resources and Life Sciences, Vienna “Assembly of superparamagnetic core-shell nanoparticles for drug delivery capsules”, Dr Zoe Cournia from the Academy of Athens, Greece “Computer-aided design for drugs and drug delivery systems” and Prof. Dietmar Fuchs, Medical University of Innsbruck “Nanoparticles and the Immune System”. The programme included two activities. The first one was visit of mountains around Innsbruck by the cable car and the funiculars up to Seegrube. The Fellows had the opportunity to enjoy one of the most attractive activity, The sledging at night time. While tobogganing, the Fellows had a great meal at one of the many Tirolean lodges. back to main events page |
